The Mutuality E2EE Addendum

Before reading our standard Terms of Service below, please review these two critical overrides regarding how our Zero-Knowledge architecture legally impacts your account:

1. Your Content Remains Yours (License Override):
The standard boilerplate below contains a clause granting us a "license to reproduce and publish" your content. This does not apply to your encrypted relationship data. This standard legal clause exists strictly to cover public feedback or emails you choose to send directly to our support team. Because Mutuality utilizes strict End-to-End Encryption (E2EE), your memories, tags, and AI insights are mathematically locked. We literally cannot read, reproduce, publish, or distribute your private relationship data, and no other parties can view it.

2. Account Recovery Liability Waiver:
Because we do not possess or store your master decryption keys, it is solely your responsibility to securely store your 12-word Recovery Phrase or native OS keychain backups. We are mathematically incapable of recovering your encrypted data. By using this service, you explicitly agree that Syncere Labs LLC is not legally or financially liable for any permanent data loss resulting from forgotten passwords, lost recovery phrases, or lost devices.
